Short description
By 2023 our goal is to create work for 30 women in Sujata, a small village community near Bodhgaya, India. We will do this through sales of ethical fashion products in Norway.
We want to give you the opportunity to purchase ethical fashion products that can make an impact in other peoples lives.
In September, we will be starting training and production, with a mission to create new skills and employment in a local sewing centre with long term contracts and living wages. Local employment creation for women is the strategy we use to meet the Sustainable Development Goals.

Suvilla
"With a living wage I have my own source of income, which can benefit my family"

Arti
"By gaining new skills I strengthen my abilities as an artisan."

Susma
"To me, descent employment means reliable contracts, and an inclusive work environment."
Get to know us:
We are are two social entrepreneurs that founded Better Living Projects in 2016. Our mission is to create new skills and employment with a durable income for women in India through sales of ethical fashion products in Norway. Since we started we have conducted a market survey which indicates that there is a demand for the products we aim to deliver. This past summer we also conducted a successful crowdfunding campaign that has enabled us to start the project in India in October. Read more about our story here.
